Terms of Service

The rules that keep Number Harbor predictable for everyone.

Effective and last updated: July 8, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and JuJu LLC, which operates Number Harbor (“Number Harbor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You represent that you own or are legally authorized to control every number you ask us to transfer, receive messages for, reply from, reactivate, transfer out, or release. You must provide accurate carrier and account information and all required consent.

2. The service

Number Harbor is a personal number-continuity service. It allows one Harbor number per account. Depending on the plan, it may receive SMS, store searchable history, send notifications, block senders, and send user-initiated replies. It is not a replacement for an everyday mobile carrier, emergency service, or guaranteed account-recovery channel.

3. Number transfers

You authorize Number Harbor and its telecommunications providers to submit and manage transfer requests using the information you provide. Transfers depend on carriers and third parties. Timing, portability, acceptance, and uninterrupted delivery are not guaranteed. Incorrect names, addresses, account numbers, PINs, or authorization may delay or prevent a transfer.

Do not cancel service with your existing carrier until the transfer is confirmed. You are responsible for obligations owed to that carrier.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are sold and administered through Apple. Billing starts when you confirm the purchase, before a carrier transfer is submitted. Carrier delays or rejections do not postpone subscription charges. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled through your Apple Account settings.

Current plans and limits are displayed before purchase. Standard is receive-only. Pro, Pro Plus, and Enterprise include replies and progressively higher monthly limits. Pro pricing replaces Standard pricing and is not an additional charge stacked on top of Standard.

Apple controls payment processing, taxes, billing records, cancellation mechanics, and refund requests. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, refund requests must be submitted to Apple and Number Harbor does not provide prorated refunds.

5. Message limits and fair use

Each plan has a monthly per-number message allowance. Standard counts incoming messages. Reply-enabled plans count incoming and outgoing messages. At approximately 90% usage, we may warn you. At 100%, messaging pauses and the Twilio webhook may be removed until the next subscription period or an eligible upgrade.

Number Harbor is for personal number continuity. Automated messaging, campaigns, unlawful traffic, high-risk use, manipulation of limits, or unusual volume may be restricted, reviewed, suspended, or terminated.

6. Your responsibilities

You will not use Number Harbor to violate law, impersonate another person, harass, threaten, defraud, send spam, infringe rights, bypass security, interfere with networks, or transmit prohibited content. You are responsible for replies sent through your account and for obtaining any consent required for those communications.

You must secure your account, device, and credentials, keep recovery methods current, and promptly report unauthorized use. Never treat Number Harbor as the sole destination for emergency alerts or critical authentication.

7. Delivery and availability

SMS, push notifications, carrier transfers, replies, and security codes depend on networks and third parties. Messages can be delayed, filtered, duplicated, rejected, corrupted, or lost. Number Harbor does not guarantee delivery, timing, accuracy, preservation, portability, or uninterrupted availability.

8. Cancellation, protection, and release

When cancellation is requested, service continues through the paid billing period. When that period ends, incoming and outgoing messages stop and the number enters a 30-day protection period. During protection, you may reactivate or request a transfer out. We may send reminders at 15, 7, 3, and 1 day remaining.

After protection expires, we release the number from our Twilio account unless an active transfer-out ticket requires a temporary safety hold. Release frees your account’s number slot. Recovery is not guaranteed, and the number may become permanently unavailable or eventually be assigned elsewhere. Existing history remains subject to your retention setting.

9. Transfer out

The gaining carrier must initiate a transfer out. You must authenticate, confirm the Harbor number, and open a support ticket. We may verify ownership and help provide required port-out information. Keep Number Harbor active and do not request release while a port is pending. Service ends when the transfer is confirmed.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. You acknowledge that providing the service requires processing message content, phone numbers, transfer credentials, device information, and subscription status through telecommunications and technology providers.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate service for nonpayment, expired subscriptions, unlawful or abusive use, security risk, carrier requirements, inaccurate authorization, violation of these Terms, or circumstances that make continued service unsafe or impracticable. Where reasonable, we will provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue.

12. Intellectual property

Number Harbor, its software, site, design, trademarks, and content are owned by JuJu LLC or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, revocable, nontransferable right to use the service as intended. They do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JuJu LLC and Number Harbor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost messages, lost numbers, lost access, profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for Number Harbor during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

15. Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises, you agree to contact Number Harbor first through the support form so we can attempt to resolve it informally and in good faith. These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting any rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection laws. If informal resolution is unsuccessful, either party may pursue available legal remedies in a court with proper jurisdiction.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the revised Terms, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

17. Contact

For customer support, billing, transfer, privacy, or technical help, use the Number Harbor support form.
