Transfer out

Your new carrier starts the move.

Number Harbor verifies the request, helps provide the port-out details, and keeps your number active until the transfer is confirmed.

Do not cancel or release the number first. Releasing a number before the gaining carrier completes the port can cause permanent loss.

Support-assisted process

  1. In the Number Harbor app, open My Harbor and select Request transfer out.
  2. Reauthenticate and type the complete Harbor number to confirm ownership.
  3. Number Harbor opens a support ticket and gathers the necessary information to complete the request.
  4. Support provides the required information through a secure channel.
  5. You submit the transfer request to your new carrier.
  6. Number Harbor receives the port-away request from your new carrier, matches it to the service ticket provided by you, and approves the transfer.
  7. Service remains active until confirmation. The number is then marked transferred out.

What to include when contacting support
